After contributing to the remix EP for Anteeter's TakeTime, Rx Cowboy has enlisted Anteeter to feature on ‘Hex’, the 10th track off their latest LP ‘Cowboy Killer’.
The bill, featuring Mechanical Canine, Constant Headache and Fantasma Negra, will mark the first show at up-and-coming Chicago DIY venue The Shattered Platter. The free show is December 10th, find the address.
The next single from Anteeter, ‘Wax Eloquent’, releases December 15th independently. Co-produced by Pedro Canaan, a shift to a more guitar-heavy sound permeates within the latest addition to the Anteeter discography.

The release follows Anteeter’s live EP: Live at 33 EP, which released in April 2023 to a sold-out release party at the infamous Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville, Chicago. The release will coincide with a music video directed by Gretel Forsythe, creator of the popular short film: the Party’s Over (scored by Anteeter). The release will be followed by a slew of shows throughout the Chicagoland area, including another sold-out release party as well as a music video directed by Joe Brocero (director of G Herbo’s Me, Myself, & I ft.
